I have decided to start a blog. Yes, it is true. No, it is not something I have wanted to do for a long time, and yes, I have actually had the time to do it (I just really, really did not want to). Personally, I never saw the value in keeping a blog. Blogs belong back in 2010, right?
Writing by hand in the AI age
I have always liked writing. Except for Nynorsk. Writing texts in school always felt deliberating to me. It is a way to express yourself, while also honing your grammar, vocabulary depth, and critical thinking about material you may (or may not) like. However, with AI being on the rise I find myself more and more susceptible to letting auto-complete fill in sentences. Not just code. Words. Pieces of text in the code editor. It can all been produced (in part) by a form of automated AI assistant. Not good. Maybe we should all go back to typewriters? I mean, imagine vide-coding on a typewriter. Ah, those were the days. Probably.
